Police take their time to investigate robbery at PhysEd school in Cuba
HAVANA, April 15 (José A. Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad / CUBANET) -
Monday at 2:00 p.m. employees of the Manuel Fajardo PhysEd school were still waiting for police to come investigate a robbery that took place between last Saturday and Sunday.
The robbery took place in a third-floor office of the five-story building, located in the El Cerro municipality of Havana. The intruders broke a door and the windows at the offices of the Teaching Secretariat. The school and grounds are surrounded by a six-foot fence, and there are uniformed watchmen on duty round the clock, all of which make such a break-in improbable if not extremely difficult to accomplish undetected, said employees of the school.
The employees said on Monday: "We have been calling since this morning. We are waiting for police to come with the dogs."
