TO MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO ADOPT

A DISSIDENT CLICK HERE

You can make a difference by shining a light on Cuba’s opposition movement.  A donation of $30.00 a month to the Adopt a Dissident program will mean independence from the state and release from the daily hardships dissidents and their families face.

The Adopt a Dissident program has directly benefited many of Cuba’s prisoners of conscience and oppositionists—men and women who often toil in anonymity while rendering an invaluable service to the people and future of Cuba.

From Isla de Pinos to Santiago, activists are receiving solidarity and goodwill from caring individuals such as you.

Your donation will register you with the program.  We will then send you the biographical profile of the dissident or prisoner of conscience you are sponsoring and their address, so you may write to them, if desired.

We make it easy for you to help Cuba’s freedom activists.  You can register with the program online, or call (305) 592-7768 for registration or additional information.  You can also write to:

Text Box: "The Adopt a Dissident program is a breath of hope and a shot in the arm that helps activists face the daily hardships that are a fact of life for the average Cuban, but are magnified for activists. On a personal level, I am grateful for the support that I receive from my mentor. It is not just symbolic, it is an act of faith and brotherhood.”

The men and women who risk their lives in the name of freedom need your support to continue defying one of the most repressive regimes on the planet.  Fidel Castro’s stronghold on Cuban society can be broken, one man, one woman at a time.  Cuba’s human rights and independent civil society activists struggle to bring each of us closer to our shared dream of freedom and social justice in Cuba.  Help them, and you will be helping to build Cuba’s future, today.
