MANO (MAXIMUM ACTION for NONVIOLENT OPPOSITION)
As nongovernmental organizations that form an integral part of MANO and promote respect for civil rights in Cuba, we are convening an on-island March for Freedom, based on the inherent rights of all Cubans to assemble, have their voices heard, and shape their own national destiny.
All Cubans, whether male or female, representatives of organizations or not, have a right to participate in the planning and/or carrying out of this peaceful march that will leave from several points in the eastern region of Cuba and conclude in Havana, with the goal of demanding from the government of General Raul Castro:
