UC-CANF

Our Mission

The University Council of the Cuban American National Foundation (UC-CANF) is dedicated to supporting the advancement of freedom and democracy in Cuba by forging strong active ties between leading U.S. universities and the cause of a democratic Cuba. UC-CANF will work toward these goals hand in hand with the Cuban American National Foundation, a leading Cuban American institution with more than 25 years of history.

UC-CANF will accomplish its mission by being politically active, organizing educational activities, bringing attention to human right issues and fostering the development of a free Cuba. Among their many activities, UC-CANF chapters will meet with legislators in Washington D.C., will support dissident groups in Cuba and will organize guest speakers, film showings, political debates and other events that support the noble cause of democracy in one of America's closest neighbor.
